The World of Model Rockets

A model rocket is a small solid fuel (Black Powder/APCP) powered rocket that is designed to reach low altitudes (100 to 500 metres) and can be effectively recovered by a variety of means. It allows young people to safely make flying rocket models without having to construct dangerous motor units or directly handle explosive propellants.

Model rocketry has been credited as a significant source for learning especially for school children and enhancing their interest in the field of science and technology.

Model Rocketry has been prevalent in the USA since 1970s and has since then grown into this large community-driven ecosystem not only in America but various other nations globally as well.

We are bringing all of this to India.

We are now Releasing a completely new line of model rocketry systems, with several different propulsion systems and DIY kits. These are highly custom kits and you can build various different types, and sizes from the kit.The level 4 and 5 kits are also capable of carrying payloads like different sensors, cansats, cameras etc.

Here is a small glimpse of basic components of a Rocketeers model rocket>>>

Demos & Workshops

The Model Rocketry Workshop is an interactive online and offline workshop for students to learn about the practical science behind the working of a rocket. Through the workshop, students will learn about basic principles of physics, mathematics, and engineering, and gain an understanding of space science and technology. The workshop will consist of theory, discussions, Q&A sessions with slides and videos, including building and launching model rockets. The workshop will end with feedback from students. All participants will also be given a model rocketry certificate from Rocketeers. For detailed information of the workshop Download the PDF

STEM Teacher Training

Our two-day workshop will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to include rocket science in your STEM activity. You will learn about the theory behind rocket science and space technology, as well as how to build and fly model rockets. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the application of science, math and engineering principles behind rocket science. Finally, you will learn how to troubleshoot any problems that you may encounter. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to confidently include rocket science in your STEM activity. For detailed information of the workshop Download the PDF

Model Rocketry Lab

Rocketeers Model Rocketry Lab is designed to give students a hands-on learning experience with rockets. Students will learn about the principles of physics, mathematics, and engineering as they apply to rocketry. The curriculum is designed to teach the basic principles of that are necessary to understand how rockets work. The Model Rocketry Lab is not only a great way for students to learn about the science behind rockets, but it is also a lot of fun. Students will be able to apply what they learn in the classroom to a real-world application. For detailed information about the lab setup Download the PDF.
